I designed and made all my parts on N54PB and included the ability to remove
the top deck, including the gas tank, the turtle deck and the tail cone just in
from of the vertical stabilizer. I had a friend who was an A/P mechanic and
builder of a Variety-Eze as a neighbor while we were both building our magic
carpets (airplanes). He was very, and still is, helpful at giving advise about
access panels and easy maintenance for inspections and repairs. He is also
very well versed in painting, fiberglass work.

I highly advise new builders to make their parts as easily removable as
possible for ease of maintenance and inspections, better to take the time the
first time rather than cuss yourself later when these access panels/parts are
needed to be removed.
