Thanks for the excellent update on the transformation of Ken's KR1.
That closes the loop on a bit of KR history.
Your adventures and your telling of them reminds me very much of our
dear departed friend from England, Willie Wilson. Willie flew 747's
internationally for British Airways. He and Margaret attended several
of our KR Gatherings and I was honored to host Willie and Margaret as
house guest on one of their trips to the U.S. Willie was a farm boy
from Scotland and his adventures and his telling of them was the
highlight of our times spent together. The history of the KR certainly
includes more than details about airplanes.
