Luis aid, > "I need an alternate solution to my magneto problem." Sparky had a 2100D on his latest KR-2, It had a twin electronic ignition from the factory that never gave him trouble. Since there's no magneto involved, this set-up requires a small aux battery connected to one of ignition systems in order to trigger it should the main battery be dead. Not a hard problem to solve.
That double Bendix you have doesn't have the best of reputations so give Joe Horvath a call and see what one of his ignition systems will cost you. I'm sure there's many choices out there, not just what Joe is offering. Lightspeed comes to mind.
