Kevin,
I have an unmodified "Grumman gear leg" as were available on EBay some 6
years ago.
26 1/2" long, 6 3/4" wide at the top & 3 3/4" wide at the bottom, 1" thick
and close to 10 pounds each. 
I recall they were cut down and/ or planed thinner before use on KRs at we
don't weigh as much as the certified Grumman airplanes.
