Bob,

I made a template from my Diehl un-stretched tail-dragger gear legs. I'll dig
it out tonight and throw together a drawing with dimensions and angles, if
that's the type you're looking for.

(Sorry, I don't check this as often as I used to. Bought a house, had kids, the
usual story I suppose. As soon as I fix the leaks in the barn, I'll bring my
plane up to live with me and get back to finishing it.)

I have the plywood template for the tri-gear KR-2 based on the Diehl gear
leg size. This is the wrong template for the tail dragger version, nor the
KR-2S.

Bob,

I'm surprised you haven't gotten a reply from someone with a Diehl gear
leg lying around. I have a rough drawing but no dimensions. If I can
find it back I have a temple I made years ago. If I locate it I'll give
you a duplicate or the dimensions. Are you looking to use the legs on a
KR2 or a 2s? Diehl legs for the KR2 are 24" but Jeff Scott and I went
with 30" legs for our stretched KR. With my 24" stretch and a tall
tailwheel the 30" leg works fine for me.
