Hello Kevin - My nephew, a ham operator turned me on to the Nano VNA. It works, but it is not as simple as SWR meter. A VNA is fairly complex device and gives more data (plots SWR across frequencies) and is a help up front when building / tuning antennas.
Bought mine for around $60 as online purchase (came with two cables with sma connectors, and three "standards"). Will need an adapter to attach the sma to the larger connectors (PL259?) you are using on your coax cable. Example: Amazon: SMA-UHF RF Connectors Kit SMA to UHF PL259 SO239 4 Type Set SMA Jack/Plug to UHF Nickel Gold Plated Test Converter Pack Also can find online free controlling software (NanoVNAsaver) and video instructions for use. If have time this winter to kill on this, or are building antenna, it's kind of fun to have. If getting ready to fly soon, would go with SWR meter that can be used in 118 - 137 MHz range. Ham radio sources (example: gigaparts)have these.
