Unfortunately, I'm another one who didn't finish my project... a KR2-S.  I had
the lower half of the boat done and had started on the vertical stab.  I had
the front and rear spars finished and had purchased the Diehl wing skins,
fiberglass landing gear legs, and a Flightline FL 760 radio for it.  I had
stopped work on it for about a year during the time when there was a discussion
about placement of the rear spar to alleviate the nose down attitude during
cruise some KR's had. THEN... I got a ride at OSH in a Kolb Mark III ultralight
in '98 and I was hooked.  So I bought a Challenger kit the next summer and was
flying a year later.  I certainly regret not finishing it but now, with my
folks and siblings gone, I've really no reason to go fast cross country
anywhere to visit.

FYI, Bernie's KR2 is located in Poplar Grove Illinois.
C77 is the airport identifier.

Sorry to see another one not finished, but perhaps it'll give somebody
else a headstart on getting in the air...
