I put a cork gasket between the carburetor and the intake on an 85 Continental.
Took off the runway and had to make a U-turn and put it back on the ground My
CHT Went nuts. A friend of mine it's an I came down we started looking at it
and it gasket hit swollen up right out of the hole. We cut another piece of
cork gasket and dropped it into 100 low lead and it Swoll up. I've never run
auto gas in an airplane so I don't know what it would do there probably nothing
