I'm planning to be at MVN on Friday. My wife hasn't flown anywhere further than an hour this summer, and wants to verify there are other pilots out there as cheap as me! We hope to be there Friday sometime, but if weather closes in, it might be Saturday. Griff Pickett

I do believe I have my KR Engine issues finally resolved. But I'll be driving this one with the spouse. Should be coming in on Friday afternoon. The Revmaster VW engine was giving me a scary stumble and loss of power when going to full power on takeoff. I keep aborting the take offs. Tried several solutions, but the most likely factor was the fuel filter. I had changed its location from forward of the firewall to behind the firewall. Either it was the new location, or it got something in it. I did also do a full disable and clean of the Revflow carb. Also found my Mag timing off about 2-3 degrees. Regardless, multiple engine runs, then a short flight this morning. No more engine stumble. Don?t forget the next Covid flyin drive in is this week at Mount Vernon IL our typical KR Gathering time. Was to be held in Lee Summit MO but canceled because of covid. Next best thing is The Light Sport Expo there in Mount Vernon this coming Thursday Friday Saturday. There will be several of us KR people there with plans to hang out for a few days and do our normal sit around and talk airplanes etc. Larry H > On Sep 7, 2020, at 7:26 AM, Mark Langford via KRnet <krnet@list.krnet.org> > wrote: > > ?Yesterday we had another "Flash Flyin", nicknamed Pandemic #6! Scroll down past the KR and SuperCub and you'll find the 3 pages (so far) of photos and descriptions of the RV-6 work. I'm currently completing a major of the engine since it suffered a prop strike during a ground loop that tore the gear out. And to keep this KR related... The new owner and N1213W are in Western Nebraska and will wait for some heavy weather to pass before heading on to Vancouver. After 30 hours total TW and KR time, he says he did fine landing in the nasty/gusty winds of western Nebraska. -Jeff Scott > > On 09/07/2020 11:27 AM, Jeff Scott via KRnet wrote: > > I've done it all at once.
