I can fully understand how you feel about lossing your KR2 Jeff, especially after you built and owning it for nearly a quarter of a century!
No worries Jeff, I have a KR2 in the final stages of ground testing and getting ready for her maiden take off.... I am looking for an experienced KR2 guru or test pilot, and I wish you could help me out for the final inspection on all the critical systems (after AP checked out, of course), and doing a test on the first take-off! Would you be able to help, assuming you would have a chance to come back to see your old friends in the Los Alamos or ABQ area? I would offer you free ownership of flying hours on this 2830V and you can take the bird anywhere you wish to go, including a cross-planet adventure fly if you choose to.
