I have a well made KR-1 boat stage done in spare time (in the 1970s!) by aviation techs who worked at fairchild on the day job. I will eventually finish it (and change out the original retracts ONLY because I cant fly taildragger)...
too bad I am in new England because this would be a great example to demonstrate. maybe if I havent got to it in 2 more years, and feel like a road trip... but I am hoping to get to it. I even have Diehl wing and tail skins to speed things along!
