Mike, as someone who very recently bought a fixer-upper as a first house, I can 
tell you firsthand how much it means for my dad to spend his time on this house 
with me. I don't take that for granted, and I'm sure your son doesn't either. 

As a side note, my house came with a worn-out barn I've been fixing up so I can 
move the KR up here with me and begin working on it again (after a couple years 
of accomplishing very little due to distance.) I don't expect to do much with 
it over the winter, but next spring I'll be hitting it hard; it's time to 
finish this project and fly it.
