I would be interested in a NW Gathering. Depending on the interest, I would 
suggest Lenhardt Airport (7S9) Under a shelf in Aurora's (UAO) airspace but I'm 
not sure there is hangar space for the planes that attend and and it is 15+ 
minutes from the nearest motel/hotel.  there is a shower and I will have to 
check but I think we could accommodate camping.  I agree with OZ,  Independence 
(7S5) has a great EAA presence (but you have to watch out for Cardianal cutting 
you off in the pattern).  The Portland area in general is central to the NW.  
How about MMV?
