Hi fellow builders/ fliers
I am trying to find firewall material - preferably .005 stainless steel big
enough to cover the firewall without seams and am not having much luck.
I have checked the archives for a source with no luck.
Neither Wicks nor ACS have it. Neither does Mcmaster Carr.
I have spent a lot of time on the phone & web but had luck only if I will
buy way too much for way too much money.
I found .002 x 24" x 120"@ Grainger.
Could this be seamed to make it work ?
Some one in the archives mentioned a source out west but did not give a
name.
You guys that have gone before me feel free to chime in with suggestions
and/or alternatives.
Not interested in going the .015 route because that would triple the weight.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Still building after all these years,
Jim Litchfield
right coast.
