Denver has it's great spots but I would drive over the mountains until you
get to Grand Junction and check out the Colorado National Monument/ Grand
Mesa and if you got time and funds drive on out to Montrose and Delta and
they have a couple nice hidden airports that have some real goodies sitting
around. The Simaron strip is close by. FWIW
