I've looked at the site Craig mentions previously. It is definitely a "do-it-yourself" electronics project, and I suspect the cost is relatively low. Looks like they recently added assembly instructions - I don't recall this being on the site before. I'd love to hear of someone building this. Also looks like you can ow buy most of the kit parts from their "Store".
