For what it's worth, I have been using a Shorai, Lithium Iron Phosphate
battery for the past six years on my 2180 VW conversion. I have had no
problems starting using electronic ignition. They are expensive but are vary
light, 2.5 lbs. I have heard of the danger of these batteries running away
thermally, but after doing some research and talking to of pilots using them
I went with the .Lithium Iron Phosphate. They are supposed to have internal
protection to prevent this.

Subject: KR> Battery for Revmaster 2100D
Its time to get my battery... for those that are flying with the Revmaster
engine... any recommendations? I am looking at an Odyssey battery Model
PC545MJ with 150 CCA and weighs in at 13.5 lbs. strong enough? not enough?
Any comments or suggestions?
Best regards
