It's $999 if you already have a WAAS approved GPS source.

$1300 if you want a WAAS built-in to your unit - probably a good idea in
order to avoid FAA test glitches.

This model is currently being beta-tested by a number of VAF guys who
have volunteered. So far reports are fine.

It sniffs your existing transponder squawk, so no tx harness wiring
necessary (unless you want it). Has an optional feature that allows you
to keep your N number private (from other aircraft or outfits like Flight
Aware if on a flight plan). Flipping the switch changes your ID from
1200 to "VFR". Controllers still have the correct N number for their use
and records. If not flying VFR, the correct ID is shown.

Sounds like the cat's meow, but time will tell.

This company is going gangbusters with ADS-B Out units for several
different categories of UAS. Anybody know what a UAM is? Urban Air
Mobility (some category of UAS I imagine) They also are building TSO'd
units for certificated aircraft.

The UAS market is about to explode and uAvionix is clearly positioning
themselves to have the perfect option for everyone, at what seems like
excellent prices. They have a drone integration kit for DJI (a major
player) and autopilot interface for sophisticated drone (beyond line of
sight) applications.

So far, feedback I've been reading (mainly on the VAF forums) the
already- installed uAvionix ADS-B units have not had problems either with
FAA compliance nor with integration with the various legacy EFIS units
and transponders like my old and beloved KT-76A.

They have a stand-alone ADS-B In unit called a Sentry that displays
weather, terrain, etc. on up to five devices (if they're running
Foreflight). It has a built in GPS plus AHARS, a CO2 detector and some
other features that apparently don't work very well. $499.
http://flywithsentry.com/ Reports on it are bad. First of all, it only
works with Foreflight. Second, it can't hold a GPS signal or maintain
consistent weather info. A couple customers even said it damaged their
windscreens. The CO2 detector doesn't work. Nobody likes it that
reviewed it. I don't think uAvionix builds it. It's got Foreflight's
name on it. They can keep it.

uAvionix, if they prove to be as good as they seem to be so far, is going
to OWN the ADS-B market except for those who have chosen to buy a new
Garmin 345 or Lynx or something similar - the certified guys. The
uAvionix equipment is miniturized, function consolidated, easy to install
and inexpensive. Seems like an excellent choice for us E-AB guys.

Keep in mind the Echo-ATU-20 is NOT on the market yet. It's still in
testing mode.
