I hope no one whispers to my Marvel-Schebler that Bernoulli's law is a myth or my engine may not start the next time I go to fly. :-) Yes Bernoulli's law is relevant, but it is more applicable to the flying qualities of the plane and the parameters it is designed to fly within, "Stick and Rudder" alludes to wing "incidence" as it's primary source of lift.
