Hello, in Argentina and EEUU can you buy a Rotax 912s 100 HP used in good 
condition (with1500 to 2000 hs ) from $9.000 to $12.000, I bought one of this 
and I ´m very happy with it, my plane is another plane

  Knowing the KR crowd, I'd say it's because $16,500 to $20,000 new for 80 
  to 100 hp is a bit on the pricey side. Even used at half price is still 
  what most builders spend on that level hp new.

  I wish I had the money for a Franklin 4A-235, 125 hp for $15,900. A 
  lightweight 2S with that kind of hp and a good aerodynamic cleanup and 
  you could be dusting RV's.
