"It takes alot to ice up a composite airframe."

That may be true with the Glassair airfoil however I've come out of the
clouds with rime ice on the leading edges in the past.  It can happen
without noticing it if flying at night, unless one uses their handy
flashlight to look outside.  It melted or disappeared through sublimation
and warmer temps at lower altitude and didn't affect flight
characteristics enough to notice.
