Leif,Pressure relief holes are not needed in your engine mount unless you plan on having it “normalized” after welding to relieve stresses.I wanted to do that after TIG welding but forgot to vent each tube beforehand.The temperatures used to normalize or stress relieve the mount would cause them to burst if not vented.Anyway no issues with cracks in spite of omitting that process.Your decision.CheersChris Gardiner
