No welding required !!! That's right, Dana Overall built me a set of aluminum wing tanks for my first KR N886MJ and absolutely no welding is required. And 560 hours not a drop of fuel leaked out. I ran 100LL, mogas, ethanol laden fuel and used additives like Marvel Mystery Oil. Oh, did I say not a drop ever leaked. This method of building an aluminum tank is very simple and very easily shaped to your specific needs. Personally, I am going to build another set of aluminum wing tanks for my "WunderBird".
