Lesson I have learned over the years is go with one that is ground
adjustable. This will let you dial everything in better. We went from a
fixed pitch to a ground adjustable and thou the original prop worked great
the new prop got us more. We started with our original setting and the
plane actually performed a bit better. We figured this was because it was a
different prop and different manufacturer from the old original one. After
about 10 we decided to play with the pitch. 2 degs got us another 100 fpm
climb and about 5knots more cruise.
