Hello All,

I am a CFII with KR time though haven’t flown my KR yet. I would be happy to be
the CFI and get a LODA (Letter of Deviation Authority) to legally train KR
pilots in a KR if we could acquire an airplane and decide on a base / manager
of it. Currently I am a flight instructor for Velocity Aircraft. With type
training insurance companies will give discounts. As we have seen at Velocity
this increases the resale on existing aircraft.
How about some ideas on how we could manage to get a training aircraft. Keep in
mind that we could legally charge for it to pay a note or return money to
investors. My recommendation would be for us to form an LLC with 15,000 shares
of stock where each share is valued at $1. Then as the airplane pays for itself
the money would be returned on a per share basis. We could have a board of
directors to oversee the management of the aircraft and return on investment to
the investors. If we did it this way we would not be required to have insurance
which I can assure you we could not afford.
