Do NOT ever add acetone to epoxy if you want a thinner epoxy buy a thinner
system in this case when sealing wood West Systems offers 105 resin and 207
special clear hardener or you can use the 209 extra slow. Either way you
can make a good secondary bond later if needed. Anytime you all a chemical
like acetone to epoxy you change the chemistry and it's ability to make a
proper and safe bond the epoxy no longer has the strength in which it was
designed.

Don't know about an aircraft, but in a home,,,, 19% or lower Rh, the wood

it wrong. It's wet rot.
