Subject: KR> Crappy weather. Hey guys, I'm pretty sure most of you are getting better flying weather than we've had here in Alabama. Almost constant IFR low ceilings with rain or when the sun does pop out, winds above normal numbers for flying. It took me nine years to build N236MS and now there's not much to do on these rainy days. I sometimes think that I should start another project but I quickly come to my senses. Nope, not going down that road again, I'll just wait on good weather. Any good flying or building stories out there ?

After having this slow moving front sitting on top of us for the last week and dumping 6+ inches of rain, it finally cleared out this morning. It was so soggy in the hangar that I felt an obligation to get both planes out for some exercise and to get them dried out. I put 2 hrs on the KR with a quick trip over to Jackson TN for breakfast with Steve B. When I got back I got the Cub out for a little STOL practice. There's a little fly in a couple of towns over from me in a couple of weeks. They will be having a STOL competition. If I take the Cub over there, I'll be expected to compete, so I should at least practice enough not to embarrass myself too badly. -Jeff Scott Cherokee Village, AR _______________________________________________ Search the KRnet Archives at https://www.mail-archive.com/krnet@list.krnet.org/.
