The Prop Bank was fairly short lived, partly due to lack of interest,
and partly because one of the first to use it took several months to pay
for a prop that was sent to him, even after many requests to either
return it or pay for it. I thought it was a great idea, but it turned
out to be an annoyance instead.

Just to see if there's any interest, how about anybody with a prop to
sell post details to KRnet and maybe we can swap some props around?
Send a $250 deposit or something, and try it to see if it'll work. If
nothing else, it'll give you some guidance on what size might work best
for your plane.

I will say that Ed Sterba will make you a VW prop to fit whatever you
want for $400 (which includes shipping), for anything under a 56"
diameter prop (or somewhere around that diameter), and maybe $450 for a
longer one. They are great props, and he has a pretty good feel for
what works on which airplane/engine combination, and will re-pitch it a
bit for free if needed.

You've probably seen this already, but check out
http://www.krnet.org/kr-info.html for some idea of which props work on
which airplanes and engines. Yes, this needs updating, but several
requests for updated information have yielded no updates.....
