I highly recommend the 6" semi-pneumatic tailwheel from Aviation products.
<http://www.apitailwheels.com/products/products.html> You will see several
tailwheel photos if you look at the KR Gathering pictures Mark Langford posted
last week.? The 6" Semi-pneumatic tailwheel on my KR has over 1100 hrs use on
it now.

Jeff,

I checked out this link you posted and all the tailwheels shown on it are
described as solid rubber. Weher does the "semi-pneumatic" term come from?

*******************************

The larger 6" (fatter looking tailwheel tires) have a hollow core in the middle
of the tire, which makes them significantly softer so they absorb bumps better
and are much quieter on grooved or any other less than perfect surface. The
hollow core makes them semi-pneumaic. I tried the 4" tailwheel on my KR for a
short time. Didn't like the noise, so went back to the 6" softer unit.
