I would like to thank Robert Schmitt and the EAA Chapter 91 for the great time in Lee's Summit. This was my OSH and Biplane Fly-in this year, since I was unable to attend either of these. I really liked having the KR's to look at, haven't got to do that for quite a while. I'm partial to the KR-2 (no "S"!) and would like to see more of them next year. We need some KR-1's also! My wife and I met some new friends and enjoyed the food. My wife has a simple solution to the Gathering on the west coast...why not have a KR Gathering West? Most of us east of the Rockies may not make it, but I'm sure there are lots of KR's on the west side of the mountains. If you weren't there this year, plan to make it next year at Mt. Vernon. Steve H
