Hi Kayak, I notice a great many aircraft kits now includes this as standard. A Backup system gives peace of mind. I do not at all conseder the KR2 as unsafe. Like anything else, if you keep within the design limitations you should be safe. There are pilots worldwide who have accumulated over 1000 hours in the type which says a lot by itself.
