Hi Rick, This is good news indeed as I do not intend to put holes in mine. Thank you so much for your feedback.

Like the nozzle of a Harrier Jet. With holes you are defusing the energy and creating drag. Like the speed brake on a WW2 dive bomber. Which one do you want? >belly brake without holes. Which one would provide more >stopping power (drag): I have not had that experience. I first flew with just the plans built flaps which are very ineffective and I began to investigate how to make them more effective, what I ended up doing is placing a belly board/flap between and attached to the inboard flap ends, It deploys with the flaps. I first had holes in the added board/flap and flew it which produced an improvement in drag and lowering the nose down on final. I then taped over the holes and flew again - this time there was an additional improvement, so I glassed over the holes and have been flying it for over 300 hours with no noticeable "redirected thrust" or turbulence blanking the tail, which I believe is the real reason for the holes in the dive brakes on WW2 dive bombers. Like Larry says your experience may vary!
