As some of you know, I have been in the process of rebuilding the engine on my KR. After waiting 2 1/2 months on Superior cylinders they told me that it would now be August before they could ship. So I cancelled on the Superiors and called Continental and received new cylinders 3 days later. I took last week off to complete the rebuild, hang the engine and fly the plane but as Murphys Law so often does. I was wiped out by an upper respiratory infection at the start of the week. I was only able to finish the rebuild. If things finally go right, I should be in the air by Sunday with a safe and dependable new O-200.
