Seems like the last line would be more accurate if they had said "must not exceed the fuel pressure limits of the (carburetor)", not the engine. I've not heard of "engines" have a fuel pressure limit. My Marvel-Schebler (sp) is set up for gravity feed with a pressure limit approx 5 1/2 pounds. I have my fuel pressure regulator set to 3 1/5 pounds. Anything much higher (6 to 7 pounds) could over power the float. My pump(s) are each capable of 30 gph.
