I have used spiral wrap many locations for wiring, fuel lines, Bowden cable
cushion and brake lines on my KR-2.
Comes in different sizes.

What did you use as a spiral tube protector? ?
I tried using springs but they were too big or
too small. ? Did you find one that works?

Enlarge the photo. There are three spots where
you can see the wrap, left side just above spar
on fuel line, right side crossing spar on fuel
line, and right sidewall a short section on brake line.
You can install on line without breaking any
connections by starting one end and then just
twist in on. Not sure where you'd find it now
days. I had some left over from Xerox 17 years ago.
