Hi Mark, Thanks for the advice. Probably will stick with Comupfire, but I can’t avoid a bit of flirtation with EI. I installed a PMag EI system on my Osprey’s O-320 and was very impressed.
If nothing else, I’d like to come up with a lower rise centrifugal advance “distributor” that can drive advance for the Compufire. The low rise “distributors” I’ve seen on some other installations are fixed single advance sensors rather than centrifugal or vacuum adjusted advance. Maybe none of this is worth delaying the project - we are mostly leaning/defaulting that direction on the project now.
