Hi Mark - Sure looks great - is the silver finish the home brew ceramic coating (TurboX)? I assume your talking about having just the final pipe chromed.
I had my exhaust on the Osprey ceramic coated by JetHot about 15 years ago. I think the cost was ~$300. I has held up pretty well (peeled off within the first 5 hours in a few spots - but has held up well everywhere else with about ~450hrs on it), looks great (about like your TurboX). I was most drawn to the claims of reduced thermal leakage, and was especially interested in having the inside of the system done. Cowl temps did drop quite a bit. However, i don’t think the actually coat the inside of the exhaust system (which would require a dip?). I was concerned that the the ceramic coating is supposed to make repair welding impossible or very difficult, but luckily haven’t had a problem. I was also concerned about reducing the effectiveness of carb heat, but no problem there.
