Have you ever heard the saying nice guys get screwed? Well back in February
2012 I purchased my partially completed KR-2S project from a friend in my
EAA chapter with a big dream of jumping in and getting er done. Well now
for the nice guy part. Being my passion is building and flying and my
wife's passion is horses, I got the bright idea to be a nice guy and in
April bought my wife two horses. DON'T GO THERE!!! I didn't stop to think
about who was going to spend every evening and every weekend digging fence
post holes and building a barn. Not bad if you have helpers which I did
not. I just finished fencing enough property for the big boys and the barn.
I am now ready to get back into the building.
I have a question for you experts, I was thinking of making metal bulk
heads and covering with metal for the rear deck instead of foam and glass.
Any thoughts on weight, strength or pros cons?
Sincerely
Just horsin around with a KR2
