Yesterday was a very special day. I took my 2S project down from hanging from the rafters in my garage where it has been for the last three or four years. It is now sitting ready for the move to its new hanger where my wife and I will finish building it into our dream plane. Until now the biggest thing keeping me from working on it was the Pietenpol, Sonerai, and the other KR that were taking up all the room in my garage. Problem now solved and it will be the centerpiece of the new hanger.
My goal is to finish it and fly to the next gathering. All I need to do now before starting to work on it is finish moving everything to the new house (probably 20 more trips with my truck and trailer at 95 miles a round trip, start unpacking and moving in, clean old house and get it ready to find a tenant to rent it, build my office in the new hanger so I can start working from home again, build electronics lab and machine shop and move everything into them, expand master bedroom and add new bathroom and walk in closets, convert garage into new living room, relocate front door of house, move laundry room, ............ OK, maybe gathering 2020?
