Hi Guys,Soon after I reported that the O2 sensor maybe able to be reused It
quit working again. It only took about 1/2 and hour to stop at medium rich
indication and never changed again during a couple hours of cross country
flying at different altitudes. To bring people up to date I have been using the
O2 sensor for around 5 years, 2 years ago I built new stainless steel exhausts
and installed a sensor on each. I have replaced them roughly every 100 hours
and I do use only 100ll. I also put MM oil in the fuel which helps my engine
scavange lead from the cylinders. I had one sensor that quit at about 90 hours
and i had one that lasted to about 130 hours. At 17 dollars each it really
doesn't add much to yearly cost to operate and have and additional piece of
information.
