I agree with all the good things mentioned about Jet Hot. I have a 2276 VW
engine that has the black Jet Hot coated inside and out exhaust and it does
just what they say it will do. And, by the way, this engine is for sale.
The coating for these pipes came with the lifetime guarantee.

I also have the chrome Jet Hot coating on my Corvair exhaust and as Jeff
mentioned, I am getting spots showing through. This coating is over a year
old and they no longer gave the Lifetime guarantee when I got this done.

The good thing is that it keeps the heat in the pipe, the bad thing is that
it keeps the heat in the pipe, that is, if you need heat for carb or cabin
heat. This is something you should consider.

PS: The 2276 VW will be going on Barnstormers and EBay soon, so if you need
a good VW engine, you can pick it up for $5000 at my hangar and I will throw
in the KR cowling at no cost.
