My A&P friend ask me to fly him to Abingdon VA today to look at a project Cheif. I had a pleasant surprise because there was a finished KR2 in the same hangar. The wings were removed but it looked to be a very nicely built KR with a VW engine. According to the Gentleman showing us the planes (not the owner of either plane) the KR has been taxi tested but never registered and never flown and is for sale at a reasonable price. I don't know if it has been offered on the net or not and don't know if the owner is on the net. If so he can offer more details.
