My pedals are top mounted with the master cylinders on the pedal assembly and work just fine. It's a matter of getting the location and geometry correct. http://mysite.verizon.net/flesner/20.jpg http://mysite.verizon.net/flesner/brakes1.jpg http://mysite.verizon.net/flesner/brakes2.jpg http://mysite.verizon.net/flesner/brakes3.jpg If you have the light weight Rand pedals, you will need to strengthen the corners with a gusset or similar fix. My right pedal broke at the corner weld at about 430 hours of flight time. The only thing I've added that is not in the picture is an "L" bracket on the outside edges of the pilots pedals to better help locate my feet. I like the top mounted pedals as I can stretch my feet through the pedal assembly all the way to the firewall for a more comfortable ride on long cross country flights. Larry Flesner
