Today my son Adam Kelsheimer was able to SOLO ! We had a blast at Sky King KHUF The best move I ever made was to start him flying at Sky King they are great people great instructors as well as being very family oriented.
CONGRATS to both you and your son. No doubt at this point he realizes two important facts: 1: There is NO reason to be nervous when soloing, because once you are off the ground..you have no choice anymore..you HAVE to land it safely..No CFI there to cover you... 2: How much that tub of lard sitting next to you really saps the airplane's power.......(don't EVER tell him this though...NEVER!!!)
