(recommended), keep the C.G. forward, and have a ball every time you go flying. ------------------------------------------------------------
I have the standard KR2,with a heavy type 4 engine with belt drive, Diehl wing skins, and wing tanks extend 11 inched behind the main spar and out two bays. They carry 40 litres a side, I have very minor CofG changes with full tanks or empty. My KR needs a ? 70kgs pilot to fly solo within the Range. now 405 hours. But I really notice when I add a passenger, I need a lot of forward trim, but the plane is still good to fly, but I am VERY careful and keep turns to a minimum, and speeds up in cirt. (80kts) until on final to be on the safe side So for me a heavy nose is a good thing, I have been in Bill Clapp's Kr2s and Garry Morgan old KR2s they were very stable with the 2 of us and went VERY well. SO again, keep the weight forward, In Australia we are NOT allowed to use the rear 2 inches of the plans range.
