I have been a bit busy the past few years. I was working on cleaning out the garage the past few weekends. I sold the Sonerai project that has been taking up space forever and the Pietenpol Sky Scout project is hopefully going to sell soon also. I just about have enough floor space in the garage now to take down the 2S project that is hanging from the rafters and give it its proper place in the center of the garage floor! My new wife has been looking forward to working on the plane with me. She went to SNF last year and had a great time at the metal shaping, riveting, and covering classes.
I sold the M1 about 3 years ago and delivered it to Kansas. I have not had a flying plane in a few years. It is time to change that. -------- Original Message -------- Subject: Re: KR> SNF, camping, and landing lights, oh my! I have wondered from time to time where you have been and where you got to. Great to see you back. I for one, (and I am sure there are plenty more,) appreciated your great contributions to this group and to the experimental aircraft movement. It has been more then a few years since I enjoyed a KR BBQ at Sun n Fun. Great to see you resurrect this fun event. With everything going on, I wonder if I can make it down. Let us in on what you have been up to. Do you still have your Mustang? List-Post: krnet@list.krnet.org Date: Sun, Mar 25, 2012 10:24 pm Sorry for the late notice, just figured out I was posting in HTML and all my posts were being ignored. After a few year lapse it is time one again to resurrect the KR BBQ at Sun N Fun. It will be Saturday the 31st starting around 6 PM in the same spot as usual. For the uninformed that is at the antique and classic camping area along the trail that leads from the mid point of the edge of the woods in the antique and classic area to the little guard shack behind the showers near the Flying Magazine and EAA merchandise stores. If you get lost give me a call and I should be able to talk you through it. Bring your own drinks and a chair. All KR people are welcome and we might even let a few other friends of the KR join the fun. Don't worry about showing up late. We will be around a while. As promised I will have my new LED landing light design to demonstrate for all to marvel at as soon as it gets dark. My number is 904-536-1780. Any questions email me at br...@eamanufacturing.com. Don't email me on the list or the address I use for list email. I don't check that address often, but the one I just provided goes to my phone. Can someone please let me know if I picked a date and time that coincides with the Corvair dinner or other important event. _______________________________________ Search the KRnet Archives at http://mylist.net/private/krnet/ to UNsubscribe from KRnet, send a message to krnet-le...@mylist.net please see other KRnet info at http://www.krnet.org/info.html _______________________________________ Search the KRnet Archives at http://mylist.net/private/krnet/ to UNsubscribe from KRnet, send a message to krnet-le...@mylist.net please see other KRnet info at http://www.krnet.org/info.html
