Well, finally after discussions with Mark L. and the man from Dynavibe, and
reading the manual again, all of it this time, I am making really good
progress on getting the Corvair balanced.  I got it down to .06 IPS at 2800
RPM yesterday but had to quit because the starter was just grinding on the
ring gear.  I thought the Bendix drive had gone bad, and it may have, but
this morning I thought that it may have been because the battery is getting
weak with all of this starting and no flying.  So, I am going to the airport
today to put the starter back on and charge the battery.  Then tomorrow, I
will know.  Anyway, the process with the Dynavibe is working and I expect to
get it to around .02 IPS at 2800.  Then I will be a happy flyer and can
start carrying weight to do the gross weight tests.
