Bill, This is an interesting thought and I like the idea. Where would the "bend" be located along the spar? How would you carve or contour the foam over a complex curve?
Anyone, On another note, I've read in the plans that one layer of 5.6 oz glass cloth is used for covering. It seems this is a bit light. What has been everyone's experience?
