My pitot / static probes are mounted on the inboard end of the left outer wing panel. http://www.krnet.org/krs/lflesner/101009203m.jpg I have a 4X9 inch access door on the bottom of each stub wing that I use to make fuel line, electrical, and air line connections after the wing panel is installed. I used a very light aluminum tubing from the hardware store and used J.B. Weld epoxy to bind the two together. I tried to locate them in an area free from air disturbance from both the wing and wheel faring. It seems to work just fine. Larry Flesner
