On my 2276CC VW installation, I had my Oddessy battery mounted near the
upper motor mount on the passenger side and never had a problem with it.

Subject: KR> Engine compartment temp

Has anyone checked their engine compartment temp? I was planning on
mounting my battery to the firewall behind the engine, but the battery says
to not heat it past 140 F. I am worried the temp may get to hot to mount it
there. I could always insulate the box, but will add more weight. Any
ideas or info would be great.

Thanks,

Derek Lewis
